Meet with Mike

My name is Mike Halsell, and I’m an Energy Consultant at EightTwenty. I chose to work with EightTwenty because I love showing people how they can empower their lives with the sun. I’m passionate about creating world class projects that will protect Oklahoman families and businesses from ever increasing electricity costs. I enjoy providing them with peace of mind—knowing that their system will produce clean solar energy for decades to come. ‍ I love living and working in Oklahoma City. Being part of a team that cares about our planet and gives back to the local community is very important to me. My wife of nearly 20 years, Michelle, and I have 4 children. I enjoy watching them play sports and taking them camping. My personal hobbies are hiking, planning fun trips for the family, and exploring the great outdoors. ‍ I am so thankful my job involves being a part of something larger than myself. I love knowing our solar projects at EightTwenty positively impact the lives of my community and state.
