My name is David Kolb and I am excited to be an Energy Consultant at EightTwenty. For close to a decade, I made my mark in the bustling world of real estate. Guiding clients through the intricate process of buying and selling homes was my passion, and I dedicated myself to ensuring their dreams became a reality. Those years were a treasure trove of experiences, challenges, and unforgettable moments. But, as life often unfolds in unexpected ways, I found myself presented with the opportunity to join the leader in the solar industry in Oklahoma and decided to hitch my wagon to a new horse. Enter EightTwenty. Navigating the intricate landscape of real estate armed me with invaluable skills - the art of communication, data analysis, and making the complex easy to understand which resulted in earning the trust of those with whom I have worked. These skills have seamlessly transitioned into my new role as a solar system specialist. Now, I help residential and commercial customers harness the power of the sun to lower their utility bills and have less reliance on an aging power grid. Every day, I wake up with a renewed sense of purpose. I get to be part of a new solution, offering not just a product, but more control and awareness of their energy consumption. Most of my life has been lived in the DFW Metro, but I am proud to call Edmond home for the last 16 years. Outside of work, you can find me hanging out with my wife and 3 kids, on the Pickleball Court, or hiking in the mountains of Colorado.
