EightTwenty exists because we believe our greatest resource, the sun, is underutilized— that responsible, advanced stewardship of the sun’s power can lift up our communities for generations to come.
EightTwenty’s purpose is to empower US citizens, families, and businesses to live solar. We started with the plan to build a vertically integrated solar developer to serve Middle America. Our goal is to deliver the best customer experience in the country and make solar more viable and accessible than ever.
We started in Oklahoma in 2021. Why? Because it is ranked 7th in the nation for sunshine and 47th for solar energy. While most folks find this discrepancy concerning, we consider it an invigorating opportunity to pave the way for connecting the lives of so many to the sun’s power. We have since expanded to serve Texas, Arkansas, Indiana and Kentucky.

“Cory Baitz, VP of Design & Engineering, brings more than 15 years experience as a licensed architect, most recently working as design director and senior associate at Miles Architecture before joining EightTwenty. As a native of New York and former resident of Chicago, Baitz is well respected today in Oklahoma City for his keen eye and craft in both commercial architecture and sustainable design. Among numerous OKC projects, Cory designed the $60M GE Global Research Oil & Gas Technology Center located within the city’s Innovation District. In 2015, OKC Mayor Mick Cornett appointed Baitz to the Oklahoma City Downtown Design Review Committee (DDRC) where he served for 7 years.”
“Tony Capucille, CEO, was born, raised and educated in Oklahoma. Capucille spent nearly two decades in the payments industry, where he most recently served as president of Heartland, U.S. Payment and Payroll (NYSE: GPN) from 2016 to 2019. During this period, Capucille accelerated the domestic organization to over a $2 billion top line with 400,000+ clients nationwide and built its new headquarters connecting Automobile Alley with downtown OKC. Driven by his interest in environmental sustainability, he decided to leave the industry and pursue his passion by establishing Sustainable Holdings, LLC and EightTwenty, LLC.
In 2020, Tony founded EightTwenty to help solve the energy challenge we have as a country. The company is built upon the principles of respect, focus and quality and measures success by how they treat their employees, communities, natural capital, and run a profitable business.
He is married to his wife Christy of 21 years and their 4 kids, Cassady (16), Eli (14), Luciana (12), and Alexandra (7).”

Tommy Wilkerson
Tommy Wilkerson, VP of Field Operations, brings more than a decade of experience
in team-building and culture, leading a team of over 100 people responsible for the employee experience of a Fortune 500 company. Before joining EightTwenty, Tommy was responsible for hiring more than 3,000 teammates and building and implementing recruiting,
training and onboarding platforms and systems.
Mark Moore
Mark Moore, VP of Electric, is an electrical contractor with more than two decades of experience in the trade. After years of leading electricians, Mark launched Prolectric Contractors where he built a name for himself with his commitment to quality work. Marks brings his experience of leading multimillion-dollar electrical projects to EightTwenty, where he continues to cultivate relationships with general contractors and builders in OKC.

Trey Raymer
Trey Raymer, CFO, brings 20 years of financial leadership in the energy sector, most recently serving as Vice President of Accounting & Corporate Development Projects at Contango Oil & Gas Company, where he led the successful completion of its merger with KKR-backed Independence Energy to become Crescent Energy Company. A native of Oklahoma, Raymer spent the first 11 years of his career at Ernst & Young, serving Fortune 500 clients as well as smaller, nonpublic entities. Following this, Raymer served in various accounting and finance senior leadership positions at a private equity-backed energy company before joining Contango. Raymer is a Certified Public Accountant.
